Women are the fastest growing segment of our prison population. One of the drivers of this explosion is the lack of authentic access to opportunities and resources. What strategies and policies are you willing to put into place to ensure the economic survival of women and children and stem the tide of women flooding our prisons?

I just listened to a podcast of Sheryl Sandberg discussing “gender bias” throughout industry even in how women perceive other women. Do you think we should introduce education and programs in public schools to inform and address awareness of gender bias? We need to shift the way our culture perceives women in the workforce and how they negotiate for better pay.
